Visited to lower a nose that had been lifted after a botched rhinoplasty. The price was listed arbitrarily as 1 million won because I wasn't even given a quotation. 1. Location Access is very good. The hospital is located right in front of the station, so it's easy to visit, but if you go by car, it can feel like hell. (Parking fee cannot be paid by card) 2. Consultation Right after visiting, I had a CT scan and then a consultation with the head coordinator. While explaining what surgeries I had undergone up to now, I was told, for the first time, that the reason my nasal tip was lifted could be contracture, and for safety reasons they could perform removal surgery first, then wait for recovery with PRP injections, and after that maybe schedule another surgery. I already knew PRP injections can have several benefits, but I was a little taken aback. Then the consultation with the doctor started, and I was told that since only six months had passed since the last surgery, there was a chance my nose could come down more (the previous surgery used donated rib cartilage), and that there were no signs of contracture or inflammation (I had already visited four hospitals about the contracture symptoms, and thankfully all of them said the lift was not due to contracture or inflammation). I felt relieved at that point, but in the consultation that followed, I was told things like that my nose might come down more, so let's wait while getting PRP injections until the nose becomes softer, and that after a year or two it might be okay, etc. At first I honestly had no idea what they were trying to say (I'm trying to believe they were speaking carefully so I wouldn't get hurt), so I asked again whether they were saying surgery is currently impossible. After that, the doctor left and the coordinator asked me to wait. I waited 15 minutes, but another coordinator came into the room, and when they said I could wait another 10 to 15 minutes, I asked what reason there was to stay if surgery itself wasn't possible. They went out for a moment and came back, then said that I should pay the consultation fee and go home today, and to contact them if I had more questions, and the consultation ended. I didn't get a business card. Conclusion. It seems they do want to operate safely, but I got the same strange feeling I had at another large hospital. Since they said revision surgery is not possible, there isn't much else to say..
