That same day, I called the hospital where I had the previous surgery and explained the situation, and they said that would not happen. They said they hadn't put in that much, so not to worry, and if it were dangerous they wouldn't have inserted it in the first place, which calmed me down a little. Later that same day, I went to another hospital for a consultation. After getting a CT and discussing it, I asked again about the risk just before. They palpated it and said my skin is thin, but not that thin. They said there are signs before it would poke through, but it seems like there are no such signs, so I felt a little more relieved. For a while after the consultation, whenever I got cold, hot, exercised hard, or even if it just got a little red, I got anxious that it might poke through, so I ran to nearby ENT clinics or plastic surgery clinics. In conclusion, it still hasn't poked through, and during my consultation rounds, there was no director who mentioned the risk, so I'm now at ease about that part. Sigh... Now I think they must have had a lot of experience, and that from that experience they were just worried the patient might have their nose poke through, so I take it positively.
