Consulting doctor: Dr. Ye Chun-ho Since I was considering canthoplasty, I consulted with another doctor who had quite a few reviews, rather than the more popular doctor who seems to be more popular because of canthoplasty but does not actually do canthoplasty. As soon as I sat down, he said I’d need ptosis correction and started shaping the line, but because it was an in-line and he made the outer corner too thick, it ended up looking like a country puppy. So I said I wanted the starting point of the line moved just a little more forward and the back part made thinner, and he cut me off in the middle, saying that wasn’t possible. He said that for East Asian eyes, it doesn’t suit you if the line starts too far forward, and he did shape it for me, but he made it into a full sausage out-line, which made me go, huh? He didn’t seem interested in listening to me at all; he just has the line he’s good at. It would probably work well for someone who likes that style and suits it, but if it doesn’t match your aesthetic, you end up going, uh..
