I went to 3 clinics in total to consult about alar reduction surgery. At the first clinic, it felt like I would have to go along with the doctor's opinion rather than have it done the way I wanted, so... I was worried that after the surgery I might end up not liking it, so I just left. At the second clinic, I felt uncomfortable that they were recommending things beyond what I wanted, so I left tooㅠㅠ And then I finally had a consultation at One Pick Plastic Surgery Clinic, and Doctor Oh Jae-yoon, who examined me, first explained what kind of surgery would make this type of nose look pretty, but after that he listened to everything I wanted and said they would adjust it to match that, so I decided on here. I only wanted to fix the complex I had, not do everything possible for some super sharp, pretty nose, and I was also worried it would end up pinchedㅠㅠ... If you do alar reduction wrong, it really is hard to fix and it can be ruinedㅠㅠ But he said he understood exactly the kind of feeling I wanted and explained it while sketching my nose shape this way and that, and it was exactly the feeling I wanted!! So I just had the surgery that same day after the consultation.ㅋㅋㅋ I didn't even know I'd want same-day surgery right after the consultation... I drank water a lot before the consultation, so I couldn't do sleep anesthesia and had local anesthesia instead.ㅋㅋ Honestly I was really nervous, but it ended quickly... I thought I would feel something, but I really didn't feel anything... The anesthesia injection itself only hurts.. After that injection, there was nothing else... Maybe because I looked really tense, they asked what songs I like and played some refreshing music I like in the operating room, so I was grateful. After listening to a few songs, it finished quickly, but they told me to look in the mirror knowing there was some swelling right after surgery. But... even with swelling, it turned out so wellㅠㅠ the whole complex really disappearedㅠㅠ I was soㅠㅠ overwhelmed... It's day 1 since the surgery now, and there isn't much swelling and it seems like the width has gone down well, so I'm really satisfied!! I'm already buying pumpkin juice to reduce swelling and drinking it whenever I can lol I'll post a before-and-after review once a month has passed!!
