I had a consultation and then got buried double eyelid surgery on the first day of the holiday. They redesigned it again before the surgery and then started. The surgery was done under local anesthesia, which was nice. From other places' reviews, I heard local anesthesia hurts like crazy, but maybe the Yiwabaek injection doesn't hurt... or maybe I just tolerate pain well. The local anesthesia injections in the eyes were bearable. I had to go back to work in less than a week after surgery, so I tried to keep my body as relaxed as possible to avoid bruising. But after the surgery, the double eyelid lines were uneven. Now it's been about 7 months and the swelling has gone down, so the symmetry is almost matched, but the lines are still a little different. During surgery, one of the operating room staff asked the director if there was a holiday bonus, and the director seemed a little taken aback.... Anyway, the lines are different on both sides, but my double eyelids turned out much prettier, so I'm just putting up with that part. The double eyelids came out really naturally and nicely. There are no stitch marks or anything, so if I didn't say anything, no one would know. My eyes are the type that easily lose the buried stitches, but they tied it in a double layer, so I'm hoping it won't come loose easily. The dissolvable thread inside and the double-tied thread outside have to be removed after surgery.
