I got a consultation about removing a nose implant and adjusting the angle of contracture. They looked with their eyes and wrote up the consultation notes without doing a CT scan or even touching my nose. They didn't force surgery, so they were ethical, and it felt like they followed the patient's opinion rather than the doctor's own view. They said that after surgery the nose can lift again or revision surgery may be needed. The cost was a bit high, but I was grateful that they were honest with me about the possibility that revision might be needed. The thing that worries me is the high cost plus the fact that it could lift again later and need revision (no aftercare).
