I went in nervous because I had seen reviews saying the director was scary, but maybe that was because he was from Busan. Since I’m from the provinces too, I actually felt more relieved and comfortable. At first I thought, after coming all the way here to scout around, why bother with a director who was in Busan? But I later found out he was so popular they barely managed to scout him to Gangnam. I trusted him more because he said he has only done eyes for 17 years, and I liked that he spoke so confidently about it like it was an easy surgery. I can see how that might have felt a bit dry(?) to other people. Among my consultation list, Director Park Byung-chan was number one, but the consultation manager was so busy, dry, and had that vibe of, ‘If you’re going to do it, do it; if not, hurry up and ask what you need to ask and go.’ It wasn’t rude, but that part made me hesitate.
