It's been several years since my surgery. I had alar reduction surgery excluding correction of the alar rim curve, and I'm generally satisfied, but if you're still considering it, I hope you'll be careful. My nostrils were not only large, but also spread out sideways like flaring wings, so my nose shape felt disorganized, and the surgery improved that part. However, after the surgery, my nose is not a nose that anyone would call pretty. If you later want tip surgery because you don't like the shape after alar reduction, the smaller nostrils and scars from the alar reduction create a lot of limitations. This clinic is famous for alar reduction, so if you go for a consultation they will probably recommend it a lot, but I hope you decide on surgery very carefully and with even more caution.
