I was always bothered by my alar base, but people around me told me not to do it. Still, because self-satisfaction matters a lot, I looked into hospitals for alar base reduction. I already had a deposit down at another hospital, but by chance I found this one and, during the consultation, the manager explained what kind of nose surgery would suit me. It was my first time getting surgery, so they explained everything kindly! I strongly prefer natural results, and because I didn't want alar base reduction to make me look like I was being pinched by clothespins, they also explained that part to me. They did say that asymmetry can't be corrected with reduction surgery alone, but everyone has some asymmetry anyway! I was startled that the surgery cost was higher than other hospitals, but since I was doing it anyway, I decided to do it safely and naturally. It's now about 3 and a half months since the surgery! 1 month after surgery: Right after surgery there were stitches, and I was told to be careful for a week. I also had to apply ointment properly, and even after the stitches were removed I was careful for another 2 weeks. At one month, it was a little more comfortable, but it still hurt a bit when opening my mouth or yawning. Still, compared to right after surgery, the swelling went down and it looked somewhat natural. It can also be covered with makeup! 3 months after surgery: Now that 3 months have passed, I can move freely. There is still a slight scar, but makeup can cover it well enough, and the swelling has gone down more, so the naturalness has increased and it doesn't look like I had surgery at all! They said I should watch it until 6 months, so at this point it looks natural and I like it!
