I decided to have my third nose surgery at Cocoline. Before looking for a clinic, I searched hard because I was determined not to fail this time. The clinic I chose after checking various apps, surgery reviews, and in-person consultations was Cocoline. My nose was long and had a parrot-beak feeling, and when I smiled, my philtrum would lift so it looked like a hooked nose. My nose tip looked very heavy... not a bulbous nose, but that kind of nose. Director Kim Tae-hwan said the priorities for improving my nose were correcting the long nose, lifting the drooping tip, and correcting the parrot-beak nose. He picked up my complaints about my nose well, and said that during surgery, if the septum was not sufficient, ear cartilage might be used, but he would use the septum if possible. Because I had already experienced my nose tip drooping over time through two previous surgeries, I personally felt that would not be enough. When I asked about using donated rib cartilage, he said that in cases like silicone or donated rib cartilage there have been later complications, so he did not want to recommend it. Of course my nose surgery is for cosmetic purposes, but after repeated surgeries I had become more greedy... Still, thinking that using safe and harmless materials was the right thing, I had surgery at Cocoline. I am now at the 2-week mark. I really like the nose shape, and it is just right now. I hope it stays exactly like this forever. Even now, I spend each day worried that the tip will drop again or that it will go back. The director said not to worry and that the septum was very strong, so the surgery was done sturdily, which does reassure me. I hope it holds up well... anyway, that was my surgical review.
