Don't expect kindness. The doctor gives off the vibe of a skilled, money-not-an-issue, perfectionist, self-assured physician. Don't go there for your first consultation. Even if you already have the surgery and style you want, this is not a place that will listen to you. ? You might think this sounds like a hate comment, but as someone who has worked in hospitals for 10 years and based on my intuition and visits to 8 clinics, this really is a doctor with true skill. I put down a deposit right away. The director's consultation, where he explained things like a professor, gave explanations that were rational and exactly to my liking, after I had studied and prepared a lot. His own arguments based on what is not and isn't possible, the expected side effects, and his style/philosophy were all packed in there. Some people may criticize him as an overbearing doctor who insists on his own answer, but all the characteristics of a true master are exactly there. I'm looking forward to the surgery. I now understand the limits of my eyes well.
