Even when I said I had no intention of getting epicanthoplasty, he kept saying I had to do it. Then he asked if I wanted to do the double eyelid line like this after the epicanthoplasty, and I immediately said it looked bad. But because the people around me and the doctor kept recommending epicanthoplasty, I ended up getting incision double eyelid surgery plus epicanthoplasty from this doctor. Even during the design stage and right up until just before the surgery, I kept telling the doctor to make the epicanthoplasty only very, very slightly, to open it only a tiny bit, but he opened the inner corners a lot. He cut the left eye only a little and the right eye a lot, so the lacrimal exposure became asymmetrical, and the inner corners of the eyes ended up round on the left and pointed on the right. The eyes are the first thing people notice on the face, and my inner corners are so asymmetrical that anyone can tell at a glance even in one second. Because of the epicanthoplasty, my original image of being pure and cute is completely gone. He also made the double eyelids way too roughly. The line is so ugly. He emphasized the inner corners, but it completely did not suit my face or the look I was going for. On top of that, the left double eyelid ended up higher than the right, so I had to go back to this doctor a year later for revision. But the scar is left all stretched out, the fixation was too strong so there is this sunken scar at the outer corner, and the line is still ugly. I’m on this community now to change everything this doctor messed up. I’ve had such a hard time for years and I still do. I wear a hat and a mask every day. In the end, what I mean is that this doctor does not reflect the patient’s needs or desired look, and because he is so stubborn, if he feels it should be done that way, he just does it that way.
