When I first went, the staff were kind, so I felt good. But when I met with the doctor, the staff came in together and stood behind us, which felt very awkward. And the doctor didn’t seem to understand the point of the questions I kept asking, and he repeated the same answers while getting a little irritated, which was frustrating for me too, and embarrassing for the staff who came in with him. After ending a completely unsatisfying consultation, I talked with the manager, and she lightly patted my shoulder, which felt like she was comforting me. Of course, maybe I was the only one who thought that. I had only gone for a consultation because of revision surgery, and I came in already hurt by a surgery that had failed before, but I feel like I came out even more hurt, which makes me sad.
