This is a nose revision surgery. My nose was originally asymmetrical, and I wasn’t happy with the nose surgery I had 6 years ago, so I decided on revision surgery and got a consultation through an acquaintance’s introduction. The attending director came for a moment, took a lazy glance at my nose, and tried to leave after saying only a few words, so I stopped him and asked questions. Only then did he respond a few times in short answers and leave. Personally, I had seen a few acquaintances who had nose surgery at this clinic and seemed fine, so I rashly decided to go through with surgery, and that was the mistake. The asymmetry of my original nose was not corrected, and in fact the asymmetry of the nose tip, which became higher through revision surgery, got even worse. It stood out more in photos, so I felt it had become worse than before and requested a follow-up. The moment the director came into the consultation room, he immediately scolded me, saying, “It was always a crooked nose, it won’t be fixed even if you do it again, and because revision surgery would need costal cartilage, it only increases the risk of inflammation,” and whenever I asked something he got annoyed and answered, “I told you it can’t be done, right?” Then when he saw my expression harden, he just left. From the very beginning, even during pre-op consultation, there was no discussion at all about what I was curious about or what needed to be agreed on, and the result was completely unsatisfactory. I’m furious at the attitude of trying to handle facial surgery like this and just take money. The manager who was consulting me also tried to wrap it up by saying the director has always been like that, that other patients complain too, so please just understand a little, that my nose wasn’t as crooked as I thought, that people can’t tell unless they take photos, that it’s fine as long as you don’t take photos from below. But could you say that if it were your own face? Why should I pay money and also have to understand the director’s personality for being operated on like this? Even if the surgery turned out like this, I wouldn’t have left this kind of review if they had not treated me that way during consultation. I’m leaving this because I’m furious at the irresponsibility of acting like this while making money from surgery that changes people’s faces. Don’t run a clinic like this.
