My inner eye corners didn’t look particularly stuffy, but they were slightly angular, making me look as if I was tensing my eyes a little, and I wanted to change that. As for the outer corners, even I could see that they were much too short, so I wanted to lengthen them and show slightly more of the whites of my eyes. A friend who had had combined canthoplasty said she had worried about something similar, and that massages were completely ridiculous if you wanted larger eyes—you had to enlarge the eyes themselves with canthoplasty.
