I had it done when I was very young, and back then I didn’t know any better, so even if it had gone badly I wouldn’t have gone to the hospital, but if it were now I would have complained right there after the surgery. Other hospitals at least put down a blanket underneath, but here the surgery was done on a cold metal-like operating table. There was someone who seemed like a trainee next to me, and when they said they would hand over a certain suture, the doctor said it wasn’t needed and told them to bring another one. The trainee next to me said that suture was way too thick for the face and would probably leave a severe scar, but they still stitched the nostrils with a very thick thread. I had this surgery when I was 21 or maybe during the early days when they were doing almost all the promotion for this surgery here, and the result had no reduction effect and left me with a huge scar. It was local anesthesia, so I could hear everything they were saying. I was young and afraid that if I talked during the surgery I might ruin it, so I stayed quiet, but if it were now, I think I would have said to please not leave a scar, and I regret not saying that. Scars absolutely do not fade with time. I need scar removal surgery. I didn’t even know this hospital’s name, so every time I looked in the mirror I wondered where it was, but after seeing it written on a note, I immediately wrote this review. It’s been almost 10 years, so I don’t know whether it’s changed now, but I’m writing this as a record so that if I ever forget and try to visit again, I can recognize it.
