I had buried-suture revision eye surgery 3 years ago. My eyes were never especially large to begin with, and they weren't the kind that could be made much bigger, so the director also told me that only this much was possible, and I remember going there, getting a consultation, and then having surgery right away. It seems like they don't overdo it, which I think is good. After the surgery, the suture thread and the foreign-body sensation were a bit hard to deal with, that's what I remember.
