I had the surgery about 2 years ago, and I'm currently in the final stage of orthodontic correction. I don't have any side effects like sensory changes after the surgery, and I'm satisfied now, but it's a shame that the nasolabial folds look deeper after surgery, which feels like an unavoidable fate. Personally, I sometimes think I should have had midface augmentation surgery instead. If your protrusion isn't extremely severe, I recommend considering orthodontic correction first.
