I originally went for philtrum reduction, but the doctor measured my philtrum and said it was on the short side, so I shouldn’t do it. Instead, they said the reason it looks short is because the corners of my mouth are too thin, and recommended corner-of-mouth surgery plus a philtrum dimple procedure, but I was scared I’d end up looking like the Joker, so I only did the philtrum dimple procedure.. A year after surgery, it did become a little more dimpled than before, but it has come back a lot compared to the early period.. I’m not totally satisfied with the effect. Since I was already under sedation anesthesia, I also had Rejuran done, but I barely saw any effect. There was almost no embossing, and even the spacing of the embossing wasn’t satisfying, so that was disappointing. The doctor and the director were kind and thorough. The front desk staff were just okay.
