마인드성형외과 — Review

It was a relief that I went for the first consultation. The consultation director was very kind..but only in voice and manner of speaking. They pushed a pre-reservation extremely hard, and the only thing they really know how to say is, “You came to the right place since the director specializes in non-implant procedures.” Of course they would say that because I wanted a non-implant surgery; if I had asked for silicone, they would have said, “The director specializes in silicone.” The pressure to make a pre-reservation was insane.. It wasn’t even a 100% refund, only 90%, and even though I said I didn’t want to make a pre-reservation, they kept insisting that I should just hold one first. In the end I did it, and they said the refund would take 2-3 weeks haha. Listening to what the consultation director says, it really feels like empty-calorie talk, and even though they clearly have years of experience, they seem to lack professionalism. It was obvious they were looking at me, sitting right in front of them, as an ATM and thinking only about how to get me to put down the pre-reservation deposit quickly. I was worn down and gave in too, so I’m an idiot as well. Surgery isn’t done by the director, so even if the director is mediocre, I think it could still be worth having surgery there if the surgeon is good. But the surgeon? Hmm.. I had a consultation with Director ㅇㅇㅌ, and maybe because he had just finished surgery right before my consultation, he looked really tired, and it was so obvious he found me bothersome that, since it was already my first consultation and I was nervous, I kept shrinking back. He wasn’t extremely rude or openly unpleasant, but maybe he was tired or maybe that’s just his personality... It was noon, not even evening;; But other people’s reviews all say he’s kind, so I’m confused. It almost seemed like he wasn’t feeling well that day. When I asked about side effects, he said there are basically none, and the director gave the same answer. Overall, when answering the things I asked, the attitude had this underlying sense of mockery, annoyance, and boredom? And maybe he’s quite stubborn, because when I said I was scared of side effects and didn’t want the nasal bone altered too much, he flat-out said the nasal bone absolutely has to be shaved down a lot to make a pretty nose..lol But after that, at every clinic I visited, they all said the nose I want doesn’t need to be shaved down that much?ㅠㅠ The only upside I felt was that the surgeon used Photoshop to show an expected after-image. That was the only thing, but even that made me doubt, because of the first impression from the director and the surgeon: “Will the actual result really come out like that?” Since I kept seeing people say here that “for noses, ㅁㅇㄷ is where a lot of people go~,” I thought maybe they were famous for noses and made a reservation, but well.. are they all brokers..? After searching more, I saw posts saying not to go there at all? Between the consultation fee and the 10% of the pre-reservation deposit that wasn’t refundable, I ended up spending 20,000 won in total (of course, the pre-reservation deposit still hasn’t been refunded X). I’m just treating it like I paid 20,000 won for the experience. Thanks to meeting them at my first consultation, my ability to research clinics and filter them out afterward seems to have improved a lot, and I also learned how to state my requirements and ask questions more precisely, so the consultations after this one became much easier.
