From the surgery to aftercare, the director handled everything. He even came to the hospital on his day off to give me antibiotics. However, when I had my surgery, the head coordinator seems to have been leaving around that time, so it felt a bit chaotic. I had seen many reviews saying the head coordinator was kind, but I never saw that. The nurses were not great either.. When the surgery took longer, their expressions looked bad. There was lodging in the hospital building for people coming from out of town. They explained the pros and cons of autologous dermis, saying there would be no complications like inflammation or contracture, but that no one knows how much it will be absorbed and that it leaves a scar on the buttock. Actually, that made me trust them more. They said it would be prettier than my original nose. Six years later, it didn’t take, and only filler residue remained between the eyebrows. They did some kind of cartilage repositioning? On a recent re-consultation, there were also opinions that the repositioning had been done incorrectly. In the end, it ended up looking worse than my original nose..... The director himself was good, but I just regret not having done it at a place specializing in removal. It ended up looking like a pig nose, so I’m looking into revision surgery.
