It’s been 3 weeks since I had a repeated revision nose surgery from Dr. Lee Young-taek. My original nose was very low and small, so at the third surgery I had silicone 7 mm and a septal mesh inserted at a clinic that really went for a flashy nose. During the consultation I asked for 5 mm, but they put in 7 mm. It was a bit crooked and my nostrils were visible, but I also felt like I might never get to live with a nose like this again, and it was flashy and pretty, so I just kept living with it. But exactly 2 years later, the silicone in the bridge became obviously visible and the tip started drooping. Since this was already my fourth nose surgery, I figured that even if it was expensive, I wanted to go to a nose specialty clinic. I had been recommended a few clinics that were good with difficult noses, but when I looked at the review photos, Dr. Lee was my number one, so I booked a consultation. He looked tired, maybe because he had just finished something, and I got the feeling it might not be good to have a long consultation. It was Monday at 1 p.m., and I even wondered whether he would have the stamina to do my nose in the afternoon. But his aesthetic sense was so good that this clinic’s nose kept floating around in my head, so I booked surgery here. CCTV recording was available, and the manager was commercial, but I liked that she was actively selling the surgery. After the surgery I contacted them several times, and they responded kindly and right away!! Anyway, after the nose surgery I had no bruising. The swelling was surprisingly minimal even though this was my fourth surgery, and the areas where they took rib cartilage and ear cartilage didn’t hurt. Ah!! I realized this is what happens when a surgery is done with real care and skill. It’s been 3 weeks since surgery, and the nasal blockage is gone as if it had always been my original nose, there’s almost no swelling, the feeling that my face looked longer is gone too, and even though the bridge was lowered, my face looks smaller and my nostrils are not visible. My nostrils were asymmetric too, but they fixed all my flaws. At first I doubted the doctor, and now I’m reflecting on that, haha.
