I got it right after becoming a college student about 10 years ago. It was my first consultation in my life, and because I was scared for safety reasons, I went with my mom first, got the consultation, and signed the contract. Back then I also consulted at two other places besides here, and I think I ultimately chose this one because they emphasized safety a bit more. I didn’t know it at the time, but for another clinic, I did the eye surgery under sedation anesthesia even though many eye surgeries are done under local anesthesia. Thankfully, I haven’t had any major problems until now, though on days when I’m very swollen, my eyes sometimes look slightly relaxed, or there’s a tiny bit of scar tissue along the incision line. My eye surgery wasn’t dramatic, but it turned out well enough that a distant relative I hadn’t seen in a long time asked me for the hospital info and the doctor’s name.
