I chose to have the surgery at a hospital with one main director, and at first he did not point out where he would shave down the hump on my nose, so when I asked he said it probably would not need to be shaved. But on the day of surgery, during the pre-op consultation, he changed to a plan to shave it down, which caught me off guard. The line turned out nicely and neatly, but as the tip of my nose became higher, my original nostrils ended up looking a bit droopy, so I am considering lowering the tip a little and getting alar rim lift done somewhere else while I am at it... He really does create beautiful, natural-looking lines. I think I should have thought more deeply about rhinoplasty before going for the consultation.
