Kowan was the best hospital of my life..ㅋㅋ This was my 3rd nose surgery, and they turned my nose, which could never get away from being a bulbous nose, into a normal nose ㅠㅠ... It wasn't just that the tip was spread out or anything like that; my nasal skin itself was thick, so at other hospitals they all said they would have to raise the bridge to create an optical illusion, but only Kowan said they would directly cut the alar skin to make the skin thinner? So it felt like they were solving the root problem! So even though the surgery cost was a bit higher than at other hospitals, I did it at Kowan, and the result was beyond satisfying ㅠㅠㅠㅠ My bridge was originally high anyway (that's why I didn't like other hospitals putting in silicone ㅋㅋㅋ), so excluding an implant, I had every surgery possible on the nose ㅠㅠ They straightened the septum, did osteotomy, tied the tip cartilage, and made an incision on the alar base! I really thought I had to give up on my nose, but after doing it here, I was moved seeing that my nose could get this small ㅋㅋ Bulbous noses are honestly hard to improve, but ㅠㅠㅠ the tip got thinner, the alar sides got thinner (the nostril size stayed the same, but the thickness of the alar sides got thinner, so that was amazing), and the bridge got slimmer too..... I got no effect at all from my first and second surgeries, but this was the first time I actually saw results. The director was really, really kind...ㅠㅠ And what really moved me was this! Before the incision had fully healed, the tape stuck over it came off, and because the tape came off together with the scab, a slight surgery mark was left ㅠㅠ But that mark was a little noticeable, so the surgical area needed to be slightly reopened and stitched again. So I contacted the manager and asked if they could do something about just the scar, and I don't know if the manager directly sent photos to the director or what, but the director personally relayed the text reply he gave me ㅋㅋㅋ Even when I visited in person to show him the wound, the director said he was sorry (even though it wasn't his fault ㅠㅠㅠㅠ) and said he would remove the alar scar again ㅠㅠ There are many hospitals that act like they don't care after surgery, and many that change their attitude, but the fact that they were trying to take responsibility to the end? was so moving...ㅠㅠ Oh, but personally the surgery mark isn't that bothersome to me (it hasn't faded. It is a bit noticeable), so I still haven't had the surgery (?) to remove the scar...ㅋㅋ I do want to go get it done soon, but I guess because I trust that the director will do it for me, I don't feel rushed...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ By the way, the surgery was on December 27, 2018! It's been about 2 years now ...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was going to write a review after even treating the nose scar, but since I kept putting off scar treatment, I'm writing the review first ㅋㅋㅋ The front-facing photo is an unedited photo taken from the same place and at the same angle before and after the surgery ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Actually, when you look at nose surgery reviews, people keep posting side-view photos nonstop, so people with bulbous noses just get irritated even when reading reviews ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was annoyed by reviews that only had side-view photos too, so I posted a front-facing photo myself...!ㅋㅋㅋ The second photo was taken with an app, but well, side photos don't get edited even if you take them with an app...ㅋㅋ My bridge got prettier too, but anyway this is a story about how I was moved because the front-view effect was amazing...
