In 2018, I had rhinitis surgery (deviated septum surgery) + rhinoplasty (silicone bridge, alar reduction, hump). Even after the surgery, my nose was crooked and the nostrils were different sizes. Inside my nose, one side became wide and the other side narrow. The director said, "The surgery went well, and the swelling will last 6 months to 1 year, so wait. Once the swelling goes down, it will be fine, and if not, we will give you an injection." Of course, my nose did not change, and I was angry about going back to the hospital again, but I did not have the money for another surgery, so after 3 years I went back for another consultation. The consultation itself only happened after 40 to 50 minutes past the scheduled time. After hearing the director's explanation, I was dumbfounded. The surgical method at that time and the current surgical method are different, and they said the method changed starting in 2020. The director said they can do everything, but back then it was a method that was not recommended and there was a risk of saddle nose, so there was nothing they could do at the time. (Then they should have explained that back then... I do not know why they said the surgery went well and mentioned swelling. Problems are visible in the after photos too...) Then they said I could just get revision surgery now, and since everything would be covered by insurance, I should come back after a cost consultation. I was so dumbfounded that I did not even want to talk.. I think instead of talking about money, they should at least say they are sorry that things turned out this way. If you have a deviated septum, please be careful and get consultations at several places.. For ordinary nose surgery, this hospital may be fine.
