The director clearly explained what could and could not be done, so it was helpful. I think it would be good to visit once and get a consultation. They said what I wanted could not be done, so I think I should get consultations elsewhere too, but unlike in my case, if the director actively recommends surgery, then I think you could trust them and go ahead.
