I had double eyelid surgery plus epicanthoplasty 10 years ago. At that time they used machine anesthesia, which had only recently been introduced, so it really didn't hurt. In reviews from other clinics, people said the anesthesia hurt a lot, but I didn't feel any pain at all when getting anesthetized. The director also sutures the line carefully. My younger sibling had surgery elsewhere, but my eye line is definitely more natural when closed..! I had an out-fold double eyelid, but I regret not making it just a little thinner... I think they also did a good job with aftercare here, but I was lazy and didn't go so my swelling lasted a long time.
