Even though I was about 10 minutes late for my appointment, they took me in right away. I consulted with the doctor first, and they answered the questions I had prepared. The consultation with the doctor felt like about 5 to 7 minutes. After the doctor went in for surgery, I then consulted with the manager. That part might have lasted over 40 minutes. I showed them the photos I had prepared, and they said that because my eyes are deep-set, a double eyelid surgery wouldn't make them look very large. The line I wanted was an in-out line, but they said I would need epicanthoplasty for that. They marked the line on my left eye. Another clinic had recommended ptosis correction, but here they said my eye-opening strength was fine, so I didn't need ptosis correction. They also said ptosis correction is what creates the double eyelid. They marked a line here too, but even I thought it looked way too strange. They said if I got ptosis correction, that marked line would become overcorrected like that, and that if I just did double eyelid surgery, I would open my eyes naturally without using my forehead. From all this, I could feel their professionalism. Still, my worry is that the doctor, not the manager, performs the double eyelid surgery, so I’m debating whether to choose them. The consultation fee was free.
