Eye Surgery review at Mioreum (미오름) · Under-eye fat repositioning · 2023-01-15

I found this hospital through a YouTube algorithm video by Director Seo titled something like “Surgery a plastic surgeon advises against.” I searched and booked a consultation after looking it up on this community. I had read a lot of reviews saying the doctor wasn't friendly, so I didn't get hurt by that. When I went for under-eye surgery here after reading reviews, I had gone in expecting 1.25 million won including fat grafting, but because I had prior under-eye procedure experience (collagen injections, a canthoplasty), it was considered a reoperation, and since there was more sagging than expected, lifting would be good, but because I had a history of canthoplasty, they said they wouldn't do it.. I'm still in my late 30s, so they said they wouldn't recommend an incision scar. Anyway, the estimate for volume treatment with canthoplasty instead of repositioning + fat grafting was 1.8 million. When I checked that I was interested in a lifting procedure on the chart, they also recommended a nasolabial package with minor fat removal above the nasolabial folds + canthoplasty threads to hold it in place. That was also 1.8 million. If you do both, the nasolabial procedure is 1.5 million. Total 3.3 million. But even though I had watched a one-hour video beforehand, when I asked for specific answers about the surgical method, he said that even if he explained it, I wouldn't know. The guy who used to explain professional knowledge like a lecture on YouTube.. Was that a trade secret or something...? The manager wasn't pushy about the deposit and was neat. Because I had made an appointment before visiting, there was almost no waiting and the consultation went quickly. One good point: the doctor consultation came first! However, I personally preferred the actual procedure to fat grafting less, so I don't think I'll proceed here.. Though I do wonder if I should just do the nasolabial package
