During the consultation, I held off the aggressive upselling of procedures, and once I got into the treatment room and lay down, they aggressively started sticking in the syringe first... Was this a war or something..? Anyway, it wasn’t even a cheap 20,000-30,000 won injection, so I wish they had at least shown some formality and sincerity and done a bit of face-to-face design. In conclusion, the procedure... does work. But then... it disappears. I got four sessions at 10-day intervals focusing on the cheekbone area, and I tried it both with and without a steroid. The one with the steroid seemed to have a slightly better immediate effect, at least subjectively. I finished in September, and it seemed to last for one or two months, but now in December it has surprisingly returned to the way it was before. I even had a slight hollow there before, which I liked, but even that has filled back in. I didn’t gain weight, and I haven’t had any other procedures since. When you add up multiple sessions, it is by no means a small amount of money, so if you want overall slimming and contouring of the face, I wonder if it would be better to just get Ulthera once. For people who need to grab at straws and want something cheap and immediate, I recommend trying it. And make sure to tell the doctor exactly which area you want as soon as possible. If you hesitate, they’ll just keep you lying there and stick it in.
