I had surgery about five years ago. I had a slight protruding mouth, so I looked around at reviews and found one I liked, so I got a consultation, and it turned out to be a review written by an older sister I knew from across the street The clinic was small and there were two doctors. They cut under the lower front teeth on the inside and inserted silicone for the recessed chin, and they cut above the upper front teeth on the inside and inserted silicone implants into the nasolabial fold area. A few years later, my chin has held up with no deformity and I like it. It didn't seem like much at first, but now the costal implant feels like it was barely even done. Maybe because it's in a part that moves when you talk and smile, the implant seems to have shifted upward, and I'm not seeing any effect on the nasolabial folds. So I got nasolabial fold filler somewhere else In the end, the recessed-chin silicone really gave me a pretty, well-defined line, and the costal implant didn't seem to do much for me, maybe because I also have prominent cheekbones.
