I had an epicanthoplasty revision five years ago. After the revision, they said to do a secondary canthoplasty. They closed it too much, so I felt depressed at first. But as time passed, it gradually felt a bit more open again. Still, a big raised scar remained after the revision, and on one side a single hair grew right there.. Did a lash get implanted during the surgery or what I have no idea what this is It's really annoying. Still, it's better than my eyes were before. But if I were to do it again, I think I'd research more first. The tissue pulled tight during the revision also caused my buried double eyelid to loosen.
