6 years ago, I had a revision nose surgery from Director Byun. It was my third surgery, so even during the operation (under local anesthesia), I told them to just use a low silicone implant... but they gave me a 4 mm one. My nose was pretty, but I didn't want a high nose.... Three months after the surgery, my nose started looking red, but I held out for 6 years because makeup could cover it... I went for a consultation to remove it, but they are recommending autologous dermis and don't seem willing to remove it properly. I didn't know the difference in attitude before and after surgery would be this big. They say because the problem is the bridge, they can only remove the silicone in the bridge and can't remove the tip, and keep telling me to use autologous dermis... They say if I do autologous dermis, the tip will also be rib cartilage, so there won't be any concern about inflammation later... But when I asked another hospital for my medical records so I could have it removed there, they said something different. They said there was Medpor in the tip.. The records also left out the material used for the bridge.... I later had it removed somewhere else, and even the bridge wasn't straight silicone but L-shaped silicone... I feel so betrayed.
