I spent more time with the director than with the doctor during the consultation. My consultation with the doctor lasted about 10 minutes, but he explained in quite a lot of detail why this surgery was necessary. And I got the sense that he doesn’t recommend surgeries the patient doesn’t actually need, so I trusted him. At the time, I had been diagnosed by an ophthalmologist as having slightly weak eyelid-opening strength but not to the point of needing ptosis correction. Other clinics I visited all recommended ptosis correction, but this clinic was the only one that said I didn’t need it, so I ended up having surgery here. As a result, the double eyelid surgery was a total success, and even after 2 years, no one knows I had double eyelid surgery; they really made me into a new person.(Though I think it worked especially well because my upper eyelids are extremely thin) Even if you flip my eyelids inside out, no one can tell I had double eyelid surgery? My right eye’s inner corner opening is a little blocked now, but the double eyelid surgery turned out so well that I’m satisfied! Two years ago, the hospital facilities felt cramped, but I think they moved to another location now, so I’m not sure what it’s like...
