I had local anesthesia, and I’d had local anesthesia before too, so I’m someone who handles pain pretty well, so it was okay. I had ptosis correction and revision incisional surgery, but I was asymmetrical from the day of surgery, and even if it was swelling, the line looked weird so I was anxious. They said it would be fine once the swelling went down, so I waited, but after 6 months one side’s line got way too low and the other eye still had the same thick line like the swelling hadn’t gone down yet. Even now, 3 years later, it’s still the same.. I went around looking into reoperation, and it turned out the ptosis correction hadn’t been done properly from the start or had come undone.
