As I got older, I started becoming more and more concerned about pores, pigmentation, and skin elasticity. Treating all of that at once felt too expensive, so while looking for a clinic, I found this place and visited. Looking back now, La Mite really seems to run a lot of ads. Back then I didn’t know, but I asked clinics around because many bloggers who said they got good results all said this place, so I thought this was a truly famous and excellent place and went there. At first I wasn’t sure whether this place was actually good, so I tried buying treatments one session at a time. It didn’t seem that bad, so I kept going. I didn’t know any other clinic and there didn’t seem to be any major problem, so I bought a package. It was really a big burden, and looking back now I regret not being more careful myself. This place gives you different lasers each time you visit after buying a package, but I can’t be sure whether they’re choosing them by properly checking the patient’s condition or whether they’re using combinations that benefit the clinic. More than anything, they tell you to do 2 to 3 lasers every two weeks, but even that didn’t feel very thorough. It finishes quickly. A lot of people have mentioned this, but because this place is kind of factory-like and there are so many people, maybe that’s why. In the end, after doing it every two weeks as they said, I ended up with many scratch-like laser marks all over my face. They still haven’t disappeared after several years; they’re still there. The thing is, you can only really see them in bright places, so I only noticed later, but when I told the director, they said it wasn’t something they did, and the other doctor also passed the blame to the director saying it wasn’t done by them. I felt there was no point in saying anything here, so I never went back after that. The pigmentation treatment didn’t improve any of the areas I actually wanted treated. And yet they kept saying they’d do better next time. Their expertise in pigmentation treatment is pretty lacking. What was strange was that when you first visit, the doctor and manager spend a loooong time explaining the mechanism of how pores form using printed materials. People seem to think that means they give good consultations. I thought they should explain that part more simply and give sincere explanations tailored to each patient’s condition, but maybe because most of the patients are young, they seem to think that kind of consultation is very good and kind, which was frustrating. Selling package deals like that is just salesmanship. I thought I had been foolish, and now I’m much more careful when choosing a dermatology clinic. I live in the provinces, so even though transportation was inconvenient and the travel cost was high, I still went twice and bought two packages. I regret it. If I had spent that money at the place I was already going to, I’m sure focused treatment would have been much better. A friend who went with me at the time also said she got scratch-like laser wounds all over her face. As expected, they never disappeared. Other dermatology clinics told me that getting lasers every two weeks puts a considerable burden on the skin, and that it’s better to do just one type of laser at a time at intervals of at least one month. I hope others will definitely keep this in mind. And even so, I still can’t understand why there were always so many people every time I went. More than anything, even if you make a reservation, the waiting time is enormous. The first time I went around 1 or 2 in the afternoon, and when I came out it was night, I was really shocked and angry. What is the point of that, and why even take reservations then? I really regret it. I guess my judgment was really poor back then.
