I had double eyelid surgery a few years ago. They made the line a natural in-line shape, and I needed eyelid correction anyway (I opened my eyes with my forehead muscles, so my forehead had a horizontal crease), and it turned out well with no side effects. These days, I hear eyelid correction is a difficult surgery. It worked out well for me.
