The director has a very strong personality, so this probably won't suit people who dislike that kind of style. But I have a fair amount of my own opinion too, so I preferred a director who would guide me, and I liked that. I'm not a medical professional, so I don't know the exact difference between the 'under-eye fat repositioning' done at other clinics and the 'under-eye fat transfer' done only at Hanmi Plastic Surgery, but when I asked if it was under-eye fat repositioning, they said it was different and got a little annoyed haha; (I didn't dislike this consultation style, so I wasn't offended.) I remember there was a consultation fee of 10,000 won or so, but the explanation was so detailed that it didn't feel wasted. The director is very confident in surgical skill, and I'm about 85% satisfied with the results. The reason my satisfaction is only about 85% is that the area under my right eye flattened out nicely, but the left eye is a little less flattened. The surgical trace is subtle enough that only I can tell, but still, I think this counts as a success, so I'm satisfied and living with it. (Personal opinion: plastic surgery is hard to satisfy 100% of my ideal, and I think it's a successful surgery if it satisfies about 75% or more.) There is no option for sleep anesthesia at all, only local anesthesia is available, so the process can be hard. But I tend to prefer using local anesthesia for procedures that can be done that way, so even though it was hard, I was okay. The clinic is a small one-person practice, and I prefer private or small clinics with three doctors or fewer rather than large hospitals, so I liked that. They have free small drinks in the waiting room, which is nice. The part I'm dissatisfied with is that ever since the very first phone call to book the consultation, the staff member has been incredibly unfriendly every single time, as if they were extremely angry about something.
