I had buried double eyelid surgery 10 years ago (in 2011). I was young, so I didn't compare several places and just got it done the way the doctor recommended. I don't remember the exact cost, but I think it was around that much. Considering it was 10 years ago, it seems expensive. The doctor had a strong philosophy and preferred a natural look, so they tended not to make the line too excessive. For me too, they said the distance from my eyebrows was short, so making the line bigger would look unnatural, and they said there would be no effect from the back canthoplasty, so they only did the front canthoplasty. I also have very thick skin, but surprisingly the double eyelid I got here has not come undone. During the surgery, only local anesthesia is used so you can talk, and I remember the doctor confidently saying they tie the knot 7 times (?) so it definitely won't come undone. However, as I got older the skin sagged more and more, so now the line is much more hidden, and since I have ptosis it seems I need eyelid correction, so I’m looking into revision surgery. I'm glad it hasn't come undone, but this hospital doesn't seem particularly specialized in eyelid correction, so I'm looking around elsewhere.
