I had it done in my teens, and it turned out clean and well. The hospital was clean and the staff were kind too. The doctor seemed proud of lower eyelid surgery, so I trusted them and left it to them. I was worried about hollowness under the eyes, but there was none at all. The dark circles aren't completely gone, but they're better than before.
