In 2015 I had surgery for a hump nose and had silicone inserted into the bridge of my nose. Starting in 2017, my nasal tip turned red and throbbed, and with the inflammation I developed contracture symptoms, so in 2018 I had a consultation and also had the silicone removal surgery. The doctor acknowledged the side effects and removed it for free, while separately recommending revision surgery, but I refused. And my nose is still in the same contracted state now.
