The doctor was really kind and has pride in his work, and the staff were also extremely kind. More than anything, they really listen to the patient’s opinions well. I have skin that scars easily, but since they did it with buried sutures, I don’t really mind it except for the part with the five puncture holes. If you want a natural change from a buried double eyelid without anything dramatic, I think this would be good. If you want something glamorous, the doctor is conservative, so I think you’d be more comfortable going somewhere else. ----------------- I regret it. After the revision surgery, the suture became visible through the buried-suture scar, and when I came back to the hospital they gave me a vague answer like there was nothing they could do and that I’d have to remove the stitches or do something only after four months post-op. If they had told me before surgery that the suture could show through, I would have taken that into account too. Looking back, I was the fool. When I came in for my one-month follow-up and said it felt like the front part was a bit droopy, they said if I disliked that feeling, they should have done an incision, but the surgery was already over... If that were the case, shouldn’t they have diagnosed it and told me from the very first consultation? The reason I completely lost trust was that they said there was a way to redo it with an incision at the one-month mark and that if it bothered me we could discuss it again, so I thought communication was at least working to some extent. But when I went back three months later, they said an incision wasn’t needed at all, that it was fine even now, and that they could never have said that themselves. My trust dropped sharply.... It’s not like I confused them with another hospital. Why would I say they said something they didn’t.. I’m going back again in a few months to discuss removing the stitches from the visible suture area, but I’m worried that removing them will leave even more scarring, so I’m thinking of just going to Seoul and considering an incision too because I don’t even want to look at the old doctor’s scar anymore. Now I feel like money isn’t the issue anymore. You get what you pay for.
