I had a consultation for 230-degree zygoma reduction, and because my bone was thin, they also recommended fixation. Basically, they contour the side cheekbone, 45-degree cheekbone shaving, and the back cheekbone overall. Pin fixation is optional, but they seem to say that if it’s needed, it has to be fixed strongly. Both dissolvable pins and regular plates are possible, but dissolvable pins require an additional fee. The CT scan area and the surgical recovery room both have to be accessed by going downstairs. The hospital is well managed, but the structure is a bit unusual. The staff manager is fairly kind.
