The wait was longer than they said, and the consultation was also longer than that. They explained things while writing them down, said it would be hard to predict because my eyes were extremely hooded, recommended that I go to other hospitals, and said it was hard to do anything with them right now and that I’d need to wait longer. They also said they couldn’t tell me the surgery cost, and that even after a few months, they’d still have to see it then. Maybe I looked like I was having a hard time, because they comforted me.
