A close acquaintance said it went well and told me to at least go in for a consultation, so I did. In the end, it just left me with question marks in my head. It was the only hospital that said they wouldn’t do eye correction; to me too, one-third of the pupil was covered and people around me said I looked sleepy, plus I had sausage eyes and no excess skin, so at another clinic I was quoted two-line surgery plus eye correction. I had been trying to persuade myself after the director at that other clinic said eye correction was needed for the double eyelid to look thinner, but Director Choi Min-seok didn’t say anything at all, so I asked first whether eye correction was unnecessary. He said it wasn’t needed, but when I asked again, he said the left side did seem weaker. He said during surgery they usually don’t do much of it, but if needed they would proceed. I do know the side effects of eye correction, but I waited two months just for the consultation, and since the consultation fee was 10,000 won, I felt the consultation content was lacking compared to other places.
