I had a consultation with Director ㅂㅎㅇ, and he was extremely kind, and both the staff consultant and the director were kind. But because of LASIK, I had already gone to three university hospital ophthalmology departments, and I regularly go for eye checkups, and a friend of mine is an ophthalmologist, and they said I don't have ptosis.... They said it was ptosis and that I would need eye-opening correction, and that was the important part. If ptosis is not moderate or worse, then opinions can differ from doctor to doctor on whether it is ptosis or not. But oddly enough, nowhere else except this hospital saw my eyes as ptosis. Moreover, even if I generously accept that I do have ptosis, there is absolutely no reason to do ptosis surgery for this eye, and if I generously accept the diagnosis, then I think it would be better to get it done at an ophthalmology clinic with insurance coverage for a few hundred thousand won, rather than paying over 1.5 million won at a plastic surgery clinic under the name of eye-opening correction. But because they kept saying it was proptosis and ptosis, they said just doing a buried suture would not be enough, so I would need to add over 1.5 million won more. From my perspective, since I had already researched my eye condition a lot and also heard medical opinions, I couldn't agree with that opinion. That said, JK Hospital is a plastic surgery clinic that focuses not on ophthalmologic disease diagnosis points but on aesthetic aspects such as the double-eyelid line and height, shape, and whether it will loosen later, so I think the diagnostic result can differ. After considering everything comprehensively, I also thought that if I did the double eyelid surgery, it would definitely be stable and create the line I want for a long time. However, after considering the thickness of my eyelid tissue, skin type, existing eye size, and the other ophthalmology opinions, I decided that this was not a double-eyelid surgery where I should add a couple million won right now to also undergo ptosis surgery in order to get a pretty result, so I decided not to have the surgery here.
