I had rhinoplasty 8 years ago (in 2014). I was assigned a doctor, so I don't know exactly who it was My nostrils were large, my skin was thick, and I hated how it spread when I smiled, but I personally felt uncomfortable with putting something in there, so I had the tip tied up and lifted? (I'm not sure of the exact term) and nostril reduction. The surgery was done under sleep anesthesia, so I counted numbers and woke up when it was already over, which was nice, and the hospital was large and a standalone hospital, so the hygiene and system seemed good. For the tip surgery, they cut from the area above the philtrum first, and I was honestly most worried about the scar there, but it doesn't show much more than I expected. But the nostril reduction area seems unavoidable The left nostril isn't very noticeable, but the right nostril has a bit of scarring, so it shows more when I put on makeup Maybe because I only had tip surgery and didn't have the bridge done, the tip ended up looking a bit like a traditional curved nose, and sometimes people asked if I had had nose surgery. Because of this, pressing on the nose definitely doesn't feel the same, and even now it hurts a lot if I hit it against something, and since then it has become much more uncomfortable to breathe while lying down,,, Still, compared to the outward appearance of a spread-out pig nose, this much is much better, so I take comfort in that. It's really hard to become pretty..
