I'm a high school senior now, but in the past, after graduating middle school, I had double eyelid surgery here as a commemoration. My eyes were already opened, yet they pushed inner corner surgery on me, and even pushed eye correction that another hospital said wasn't needed at all. Back then, this was the only place where I could get surgery on the date I wanted, so I had no choice but to go through with it. Even now, a long time later, the swelling still tends to remain like sausage eyes, and to anyone looking at me the inner corner surgery effect is basically nonexistent (maybe because they already looked open, so they only did it very slightly), but the scar is severe and it's really stressful. After I become an adult, I plan to look carefully and get revision surgery.. And I still remember how, because I was young, they explained things carelessly, didn't respect my opinion, and pushed the surgery through in a forceful way.
