One of the places I toured for consultations after moving from the Sinsa Station area over to Gangnam Station. I went in and it was bigger than I expected. But the coordinators were standing while greeting people, and I wish they had been sitting; their legs must have hurt. Or maybe they were only standing at that time. After checking my appointment and going in for the consultation, there were so many people that I waited about 10 minutes. They said that was a short wait, but no matter how peak season it was, wow, there were so many people. I guess people really do get a lot of plastic surgery. I went there about jaw surgery, and after a free CT, they looked at my facial bones and said they’d do one cut from below the ears to the jawline, and that the cheekbones also needed to be reduced, but they should leave as much of the lower cheekbone area as possible while also leaving the chin tip. I said my chin tip is pretty nice, so there was no need to go all the way to triple-jaw surgery, and actually the cheekbones didn't necessarily need to be touched either, but if I was still unhappy, I could consider it. That suddenly made me think. When I said that other places told me everything needed to be shaved down, the director said that in her view my face wasn't the kind that needed to be reduced that much, and that I should think carefully about what to leave and not force surgery. Honestly, at first I thought, why are they being so passive? But as I listened, it felt like safety comes first, so I said okay for now and cautiously told them I wanted to think a little more. By the time we were done, the consultation had lasted close to an hour, so I felt a bit sorry, but they let me go pretty easily lol. That made me feel even more sorry. If I end up having surgery, I think I’d do it here. But the consultation coordinator was extremely kind and talked to me like a close older sister, though there was a bit of a sense of hurrying me toward making a reservation; not pushy exactly, but kind while also a little nagging...? Aside from that, it was fine. I’m planning to check other places too.
